Welly was invited to give advice to Boston bombing victim Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a ballroom dancer who lost her foot in the tragedy.

As a former dancer with Candoco and a current associate artist, Welly embodies our mission to challenge perceptions of dance and disability, proving that dance is beautiful and powerful not in spite of, but because of diverse physicalities.
